If you need a cost effective GWP for your retail accounts, I've got an idea your trade marketing team can steal.
You can give little seed packages for mint, thyme, or basil and have a recipe for a cocktail using that herb on the back of the package. Costs borderline nothing, won’t wind up as plastic junk in a landfill, and creates an elevated home consumption experience.
Credit where credit is due - I recall seeing this on a bottle of spirits in liquor store in Toronto years ago. I can’t remember the brand unfortunately, but you can take that as validation that can be approved by liquor stores.
My personal favourite drink is a Mojito, and I went through a gardening hyper fixation during Covid, so I grew 9 different varieties of mint to figure out the best for cocktails. Surprise surprise, “Mojito Mint” was the best, with Kentucky Colonel mint as a close second. Pineapple mint and strawberry mint became staples in my other cocktails.
