If you've ever watched American Ninja Warrior on television and thought, "I wish I could try that myself," Vancouver Ninja Tag is your answer. It's an indoor obstacle course experience that combines athletic challenges with interactive gaming. Think of it as parkour meets a high-tech arcade, and our family recently had the privilege of experiencing it firsthand.
Here's what makes it unique: you enter a massive 5500 square foot arena filled with 14 different physical challenges. Some involve climbing walls, navigating balance beams, and jumping between platforms. Others test your agility and speed. Throughout the arena, illuminated transponders light up in different colors, each representing varying difficulty levels and point values. During your 10-minute game, you race through the course tagging as many of these glowing targets as you can while completing the obstacles.
Thank you to the Vancouver Ninja Tag team for giving my family one of the most fun afternoons we've had in months. I couldn't believe my eyes seeing my dear sweet Mom scurrying up the rock wall, and watching my Dad try to show my brother how its done on the warped wall (nice try old man).
